End of Year Showcase
RHS Garden Bridgewater
As part of RHS Garden Bridgewater’s celebration of the Chinese Moon Festival our school was invited to perform various dances including a dance about Chang’E, the Chinese Goddess of the Moon. Our teachers were fantastic and were well received by members of the public!
Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance Examination
Over 50 of our students participated in the Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance Grade Examination and every single one of them achieved excellent results!

MCAD Dance Showcase
On December 15th, we invited all of our teachers, students, their family and the members of the local community to enjoy the show. There were many different styles of dance on show including Chinese Dance, Latin Dance, K-pop and Street Dance performed by our students in our adult and children's classes.

Performances

The 10th Manchester Idol
Our K-pop classes were invited by the Manchester University Chinese Culture Integration Society (MUCCIS) to perform at the 10th Manchester Idol at Manchester Central.

The 6th Chinese Culture Festival
Invited by Chinese Students and Scholars Association Manchester (CSSA) to perform at the 6th Chinese Culture Festival at Manchester Academy at the University.
Workshops

Chinese Dance Worshop
On May 12th, at St Luke's Community Centre, our director Jiajie presented local students with different styles of traditional Chinese dance including Fan Dance, Drum Dance and Water Sleeves Dance. During the workshop, both adults and children were full of vigour, overflowing with enthusiasm.

National Gallery Event - Family Festival Day
In collaboration with the National Gallery, we held a variety of activities to celebrate the year of the pig. From 'Colourful Costume Displays' to 'Fans To Flutter', 'Family Fan Dancing' to 'Dumpling Making' we were able to share our Chinese culture with the wider community.
